DEROSA, Gerard J. DeRosa Pleasantville NY passed away peacefully on June 4, 2014. The beloved husband of Jeanne and loving father of Daniel. Gerard was adored and truly loved by his family. He was a Safety Administrator for Con Edison.

In addition to securing the safety of his work teams, Gerard was first in line to aid storm ravaged communities around the country. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Joe Lesly, the loving father of Meredith and Mark Lesly, and grandmother to her cherished grandson, Jalen.

Ruth was born on September 22 (also the birthday of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins) in 1928, birth year of Mickey Mouse. She grew up in Stephentown, NY, as the third child of Mark and Pauline Lilienfeld. An excellent student, she raced through a one-room schoolhouse to graduate high school at 15, a BA at SUNY-Albany at 19, and her Master's Degree in Library Science from Columbia University. Ruth met Joe in the Poconos on a 4th of July weekend in 1954, and she kibitzed his bridge game in order to get to know him. As soon as she got home, she told her mother that she had met the man she was going to marry; five months later they were husband and wife.

Ruth touched countless people's lives in her 25 years working at the Hastings Library, first as part-time children's librarian, then LIPTACK, William Edward Liptack, a resident of Eastchester, NY, died on June 3, 2014 at the age of 80. Bill was born on June 22, 1933 to the late Emil and Sophie (Plitnik) Liptack and older brother to the late Robert Liptack. Bill attended Fordham University where he played and was elected Captain of the Division 1 Varsity Fordham Football Rams. While attending Fordham he met the love of his life Kathryn Brennan of the Bronx, NY. Bill and Kay were married on May 11, 1957.

Following his graduation from Fordham, he attended Naval Officer's Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island and was commissioned as an Ensign. Bill served in the Navy for three years, including one year in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. After retiring from the Navy, Bill began his 33 year advertising career in New York City. He began as an Associate Media Director at Young Rubicam. KELLER, III, FREDERICK Frederick Charles Keller, III, of Englewood, FL, born on August 24, 1928, passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 31, 2014. Born in Greenwich, CT, Fred grew up in Byram, CT and Harrison, NY then moved to Rye, NY where he was a resident for over 30 years. Fred was an architect by profession, working for many years for Wenning Associates and Fuller and DAngelo. He was a gifted architect, musician, artist and craftsman, though so humble in nature he would never admit it.

A quiet gentleman with a quick wit, he had many interests and talents spanning art, design, music, and sports. His biggest love was his family, a devoted husband to his first wife Marcy (deceased) and second wife Annette (deceased) and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his four children and their spouses: Catherine and Robert Zappi of West Palm Beach, FL, Stephen and Susan Keller of West Hartford, CT, Tracy and Tony Tomae of Chatham, NJ and John and Diane Keller of Danbury, CT.
